The world premiere of the car was in Detroit Motor Show three years ago and the concept Kia Sou?ster. The car comes with a removable roof, which was based on a five-door crossover Soul.

From initial concept to model different parts of the design front, a pair of doors, removable roof part of the front seats, removable roof flowing over the rear seats and luggage space.

The interior offered four individual seats and a revised dashboard. Technique lurking under the hood should be exactly the same with serial Seoul including front-wheel drive.

Shortly after its premiere attracted Sou?ster designed in California design center of the Korean brand, although fairly positive reviews and, as it is for similar concepts, over time the public had forgotten him.

Apparently it but forgot the very car that mentions it in a short press release announcing the premiere concept Track'ster Motor Show in Chicago. According to the information in this press release is precisely Sou?ster now in the final approval process for mass production.

If Sou?ster gets green light, then we can expect very soon premiere serial form unconventional vehicle, combining the advantages of each convertible, given the small pick-up. A variety of drive units should be the same as the five-door Seoul. In the case of the European market would thus be four-cylinder engines 1.6 GDI (103 kW) and 1.6 CRDi (94 kW).
